Terms of Service

Last updated: 13 June 2026. By creating a Kreddlo account you agree to these terms in full.

Eligibility

To use Kreddlo, you must meet the following eligibility requirements at the time of registration and throughout your use of the platform:

  • You must be at least 18 years of age. Kreddlo does not permit accounts for minors under any circumstances.
  • You must be a human individual. Automated registrations, bots, and non-human accounts are strictly prohibited.
  • You must complete KYC identity verification using a valid government-issued identity document before accessing platform features including posting services, accepting contracts, or making withdrawals.
  • You must provide accurate, truthful information during registration and verification. Submitting false identity documents is a criminal offence and will result in permanent account termination and referral to relevant authorities.
  • You must be legally permitted to enter into contracts in your country of residence. If you are operating as a business, you confirm you are authorised to act on behalf of that entity.

Creating multiple accounts to circumvent a ban, avoid fees, or manipulate the platform is strictly prohibited and will result in permanent termination of all associated accounts.

Our Services

Kreddlo provides a verified global freelance operating platform that connects KYC-verified freelancers with buyers from around the world. Specifically, Kreddlo provides:

  • A verified professional directory allowing buyers to find, evaluate, and engage identity-verified freelancers
  • Digital contract creation and signing tools to formalise service agreements between freelancers and buyers
  • Escrow payment infrastructure that holds buyer funds securely until work is delivered and approved
  • Cryptocurrency withdrawal tools allowing freelancers to receive earnings to their personal crypto wallets
  • Dispute resolution services to mediate disagreements between parties when they cannot reach resolution independently
  • Subscription-based Pro features including profile boosting, advanced analytics, priority dispute handling, and early payout access

Kreddlo is a platform facilitator, not a party to contracts between freelancers and buyers. We do not guarantee the quality of work delivered or the timely payment of funds beyond our escrow obligations.

Escrow

Kreddlo operates a milestone-based escrow system to protect both parties in every transaction.

  • Once a contract is signed by both parties, the buyer is required to fund escrow before the freelancer begins work. Kreddlo will not allow the freelancer to begin until funds are confirmed.
  • Funds held in escrow are controlled by Kreddlo and cannot be accessed by either party until a release condition is met.
  • Escrow is released to the freelancer's available balance when the buyer clicks Approve Delivery, confirming the work meets the agreed requirements.
  • If the buyer does not approve or dispute the delivery within 7 days of the freelancer marking work as delivered, escrow is automatically released to the freelancer.
  • In the event of a dispute, escrow is frozen pending Kreddlo's investigation and ruling. The funds are held until a final decision is made.
  • Kreddlo does not hold escrow funds in a personal bank account. Funds are processed through NOWPayments' regulated payment infrastructure.

Disputes

When a buyer and freelancer cannot resolve a disagreement independently, either party may raise a formal dispute through the platform.

  • Disputes must be raised within 7 days of the delivery being marked as complete. Disputes raised after this window may be declined.
  • Both parties will be asked to submit evidence including messages, files, screenshots, contract terms, and any other relevant documentation.
  • The Kreddlo dispute team will review all evidence and reach a decision within 3 to 5 business days of receiving complete submissions from both parties.
  • The Kreddlo team's decision is final and binding. By using the platform, you agree to accept this decision as the resolution of the dispute.
  • In cases of clear fraud or bad faith participation in the dispute process, the offending account may be suspended or permanently banned.
  • Kreddlo may rule for a full refund, partial refund, full release to the freelancer, or a split depending on the evidence.

Raising a dispute in bad faith, submitting fabricated evidence, or using the dispute system to harass the other party will result in immediate account suspension.

Prohibited Activities

The following activities are strictly prohibited on Kreddlo. Engaging in any of them will result in immediate account suspension and may result in legal action:

If your account is terminated for a policy violation, any funds held in escrow at the time of termination will be handled according to the ruling in any active disputes, or returned to the buyer in the absence of a completed delivery.

You may close your own account at any time from your account settings page. Closing your account does not entitle you to a refund of any fees already paid.

Limitation of Liability

Kreddlo provides the platform on an as-is basis. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

  • Kreddlo is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from your use of the platform
  • Kreddlo's total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the platform is limited to the total platform fees you paid to Kreddlo in the 3 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim
  • Kreddlo does not guarantee uninterrupted access to the platform and is not liable for losses arising from service outages, maintenance, or circumstances beyond our control
  • Kreddlo is not responsible for the quality, legality, or delivery of services exchanged between freelancers and buyers
  • Kreddlo is not liable for losses arising from cryptocurrency exchange rate fluctuations between the time of payment and the time of withdrawal

Nothing in these terms limits Kreddlo's liability for fraud, gross negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service and any disputes arising from your use of Kreddlo are governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any dispute that cannot be resolved through Kreddlo's internal dispute process and that escalates to formal legal proceedings shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Estonia.

If you are a consumer located in a jurisdiction with mandatory consumer protection laws, those protections apply to you in addition to these terms, not in place of them.

Changes to Terms

Kreddlo reserves the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. When we make changes, we will:

  • Update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page
  • Send an email notification to all registered users at least 14 days before the changes take effect
  • Display a prominent in-app banner on your dashboard for 14 days before the new terms come into force

Your continued use of Kreddlo after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not agree to the revised terms, you must close your account before the effective date.

We will never change terms in a way that reduces your rights to funds already held in escrow on active contracts. Changes apply to new contracts only.
